At only 48 years of age Jim was taken too soon. He was in the prime of his life – married to Julie his partner of 32 years. They had 3 children together who are now grown up and one granddaughter, who he absolutely adored.
Sadly Jim became ill and due to complications from his illness, he passed away on Boxing Day 2008.
Jim was such a cheerful man who always had a smile on his face. He was a real family man who would always be there for them no matter what. He will be sadly missed by family, friends, and everyone who knew him...

I knew both Jimmy and Julie when I was at school at The Vyne Basingstoke. I now live in Scotland so had no idea that this had happened. I was so sorry to hear about Jimmy and his brother George. Julie, you have your children and grand-daughter and 32 years together to remember Jimmy by, and I am sure they will be a comfort to you.

I knew Jimmy when i was 13. We were boyfriend and girlfriend for about 2 weeks. We all knew each other in Winklebury. He was one of the nicest people i knew. Completely respectful and kind, even at that young age. I was only talking about him a few weeks ago so was shocked to discover that he had passed. It's lovely to know that he was loved and had a wonderful family. Rest in peace gentle man....xxx

Life does go on Jim but i do think about you every day. It doesn't matter where I am as there are always constant reminders. It's difficult to go in to Keyline or Travis Perkins and that's a daily issue for me. This time a year ago I lost my closest brother and friend. I miss the constant contact and banter. I miss you!
We will do something special later. Hope you like it.

Thinking of you
It will be your birthday tomorrow. You are in our thoughts every day anyway. This year so far has been really difficult for everyone and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier.
Derek gets too upset to look on yours or Georges sites.Thankfully Vicki is looking after this site for you. He really misses you. Losing two brothers so young is a difficult thing to cope with.
Chloe still draws you lots of pictures and you are very much still alive in her memories.
But you know all this anyway because I am sure you are watching.

Hi Jim
I just want to tell you that Grandad passed away today at Derriford Hospital. He was at peace and he looked so happy which im sure means that he has seen you, and my Uncle Jim and i bet you are all causing mischief.
Look after him for me Jim and guide him in the after life.
All my love to you and if you see Grandad tell him that we love him to and miss him very much and i will look after Nan for him and he is not to worry.
